Hyderabad: On Thursday, chaos unfolded at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad when 15 passengers on Alliance Air flight 9I517 from Bengaluru arrived without their luggage. Among them was advocate Chava Hanumantha Rao, who expressed frustration over the airline’s lack of communication and support. Despite waiting for over an hour, the passengers received no clear information regarding their missing luggage.
The incident involved nearly seven women, some traveling alone, who felt neglected by the airline staff. Alliance Air representatives attributed the mishap to a technical defect that prevented a door from opening, leaving the luggage behind in Bengaluru. Efforts were reportedly underway to transport the bags on the next available flight, but passengers were still in the dark about when they would receive their belongings. As of late Thursday night, the airline had not issued an official statement, leaving affected passengers anxious and uncertain.
