Hyderabad: In the Goshamahal area, a narrow road at Chandanwadi caved in on Saturday when a speeding lorry lost balance and fell over. Videos of the incident have gone viral on social media. GHMC engineering officials stated that the road was already in poor condition due to recent rains. Barricades had been put up to prevent such incidents, but the lorry driver removed them and attempted a reverse turn at high speed, causing the road to collapse. As a temporary fix, mud and gravel have been filled at the site, and new barricades have been installed. Authorities plan to construct a new concrete road once the rainy season ends.
