KTR Blames Revanth Reddy of Harming the Poor Under HYDRAA Operations

Hyderabad: BRS Working President KT Rama Rao launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and his brother A Tirupathi Reddy, accusing them of harming the poor through HYDRAA operations. He criticized the Congress government for demolishing homes and businesses of the underprivileged without proper support or time for relocation.

“In the name of HYDRAA, the poor are being left homeless, while Tirupati Reddy managed to secure a court stay order to protect his properties. Is there one law for the poor and another for the Chief Minister’s family?” Rao questioned.

At a party workers’ meeting in Serilingampally on Tuesday, Rama Rao accused Revanth Reddy’s family of looting the State and targeting vulnerable communities. He cited allegations from Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi that Tirupati Reddy ran a “commission shop” in Madhapur. He predicted a by-election in Serilingampally, confident of a BRS victory.

“People are angry with Congress. Serilingampally will soon have a new MLA,” he stated.

Rama Rao challenged Revanth Reddy to take action against those who permitted the illegal constructions now being demolished, accusing Congress of hypocrisy. He contrasted this with the BRS government’s focus on development, including double-bedroom homes, flyovers, and sewage treatment plants, while accusing Congress of “destruction and blackmail.”

Rama Rao reaffirmed BRS’s commitment to standing with the poor and warned that they would resist demolitions without a fight. He also criticized Congress for failing to deliver on promises like Rythu Bharosa, crop loan waivers, and job creation. He pledged that BRS would continue to support Telangana’s development under former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s leadership, declaring readiness for a by-election fight in Serilingampally.
