Delhi: — India’s total coronavirus cases have crossed 25 Lakh (2.5 million) with another biggest single-day spike of more than 64,00 and 950 death in the past 24 hours.
India is 3rd hard hit country behind the United States and Brazil in the number of cases.
In less than the last 10 days CoronaVirus cases in India reach from One Million to Two Million (from 20 lakh to 25 lakhs).
- On 15th February Indian had only 3 cases, after 109 days,
- On 18th May Indian reached 1 Lakhs (100,000) CoronaVirus cases, after 39 days,
- On 26th June India surpasses 5 Lakhs (500,000) CoronaVirus cases, and again in just 20 days,
- On 16th July India reached 10 Lakhs (One Million) CoronaVirus cases, and again, in just 21 days,
- On 6th August India reached 20 Lakhs (Two Million) CoronaVirus cases, in just another 9 days,
- On 15th August India reached 25 Lakhs (2.5 Million) CoronaVirus cases.
The new cases spiked after India reopened shops and manufacturing and allowed hundreds of thousands of migrant workers to return to their homes from coronavirus-hit regions. Subways, schools and movie theaters remain closed.
