Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police on Tuesday busted a hawala racket and arrested four persons, Eshwar Dileep Solanki (29), Harish Ram Bhai Patel (35), Ajith Singh (34) and Rathod Kanak Singh Natuba (42), all residents of Banjara Hills and natives of Gujarat, and seized Rs.3.75 crore and two cars from them without any valid document.
City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar in a press conference said “Acting on a tip of information, the Task Force stopped two cars at Banjara Hills and discovered Rs. 3.75 crore in the vehicles. On interrogation, the all four people said that they are working for one P. Vijay and Co., a Mumbai-based firm,”.
Police Commissioner further said that the four suspects had come and collected the cash from the company (P.Vijay & Company, Mumbai (Head office is at Mumbai) owned by Kamlesh Shah from Gujrat, and having a branch office at Hyderabad Road No.12, Anand Banjara colony, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad) to transport it to Sholapur in the two cars (Hyundai Accent and Mahindra Scorpio) when they were caught. They, along with the seized cash of Rs. 3.75 crore and both cars, have been handed over to Income Tax authorities for further investigation.
The seizure was made under the supervision of Sri. P. Radhakishan Rao, Dy. Commissioner of Police (OSD), Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad by Sri B Gattu Mallu, Inspector of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone, and SIs Sri. Ranjeet Kumar, Mallikarjun and Muzaffer of West Zone Task Force Team, Hyderabad.
The police suspect that the cash is part of hawala transactions facilitated by the Mumbai firm.

3) Ajith Singh R Dodiya S/o Ranjith Singh, aged 34 yrs, Occ: Office Boy at P.Vijay & Company, #8-2-684/4/13/B, Road No.12, Anand Banjara colony, Banjara Hills, R/o H.No.8-2-684/4/13/B, Road No.12, Anand Banjara colony, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, N/o Paliyad(V), Gandhinagar district, Gujrat, Ph.No.7009786505.
