Hyderabad: Muslim scholars in Hyderabad held a press conference and appealed to the Muslims of Uttar Pradesh and also the secular-minded people to vote for AIMIM in the assembly election so that they can live with their ‘heads held high’ like the Muslims of Telangana.

Muslims religious scholars who support AIMIM include Maulana Mufti Khaleel Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Nizamia,  Maulana Mohammed Husamuddin Saani Jaffar Pasha, President, Amarat Millate Islamia, Maulana Hasan Farooqi, President, Sunni Dawate Islami and M Ziauddin Nayyar, President, All India Majlis Tameer-e-Millat.
