Hyderabad: A session court on Tuesday sentenced and sent a man to life imprisonment for killing his wife.

Anantha Ramulu harassed and murdered his wife G Laxmamma (30) by setting her ablaze in November 2015. The couple who were married for more than 15 years ago had two children, a son and daughter.

Anantha Ramulu normally came home drunk and in an inebriated condition harassed his wife for money.

The convicted G Anantha Ramulu (34), was a construction worker from Bhagyanagar Colony in Hasthinapuram and a native of Narsampally village in Mahabubnagar.
