Hyderabad: The Hyderabad customs officials on Monday booked a case for smuggling 689g of 24-carat gold Jewellery, which were concealed in the trouser pockets of the passengers at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad.
A total of 689 gram of gold valued at Rs 34 lakhs was seized from a passenger arriving on flight J9-1403 which arrived from Kuwait.
The airport officials booked a case Further investigation is in progress.
