Hyderabad: In a significant action against unsafe bottled water, GHMC Food Safety officials conducted an inspection at K2 King Aqua and Beverages in Kacheguda on Thursday, November 14. During the operation, they confiscated 19,268 litres of bottled water from the premises, as the products failed to meet TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) norms.
Brands and Quantities Seized:
- Brislehri (1000 ml): 5,400 litres
- Brislehri (500 ml): 6,108 litres
- Kelvey (1000 ml): 1,172 litres
- Kelvey (500 ml): 6,480 litres
- Nature’s Pure (500 ml): 108 litres
Samples of the seized water have been sent to the State Food Laboratory for detailed analysis.
This operation highlights the importance of verifying the quality of bottled water being consumed. Stay alert, Hyderabadis, and avoid the listed brands until further notice!
