Hyderabad: Elections for the Hyderabad Mayor and Deputy Mayor to be held on or before 10th February 2020.
As per the GHMC Act, the first meeting after GHMC elections has to be conducted within a month of the publication of names of winning candidates in the gazette by the State Election Commission.
Accordingly, if the gazette with winning candidates’ names of the elected members is published before January 10, 2021, the first GHMC meeting is to be held before 10th February and the elections to the posts of Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be conducted.
