GHMC Gears Up for Advanced Waste Management with New Integrated Command and Control Center in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is working on launching an Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) to tackle waste management issues more efficiently. A meeting was held on Tuesday with 11 different companies to discuss innovative technological solutions for this center.

The ICCC will leverage advanced technology to manage street sweeping, garbage collection, citizen complaints, and provide overall monitoring of waste management services. This move aims to enhance both the operational efficiency and sustainability of waste management in the city.

The meeting, chaired by GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata, focused on selecting the best technology to improve waste collection, cleanliness, and citizen satisfaction.
