Hyderabad: TRS release an election manifesto today for the GHMC elections released by Chief Minister KCR on Monday.

Releasing the election manifesto at TRS headquarter Telangana Bhavan, K Chandrashekhar Rao said the TRS government has introducing unique and progressive policies such as TS-iPASS, TS-bPASS and the one-of-its-kind Dharani portal for land management.

People from across India have settled down in the city, and are a happy lot. The city has a rich culture and a great history. The TRS will make it a truly global city, will strive to keep the momentum going through various schemes and initiatives,” KCR said.

Election manifesto should bring a joy to several sections of society in the city and in Telangana.

The election manifesto shows the TRS government’s concern for the people badly impacted by the issues like Coronavirus, Lockdown, and Economic slowdown that has hit the country hard.

Earlier Chief Minister KCR promised to its representatives of film industry when they called on him on Sunday, the government will reimburse the State GST for small budget films (upto Rs 10 crore), allow theatres to increase the number of shows per day and flexible ticket pricing  to recover the losses incurred by the industry that has been having a dry run in the past eight months due to Coronavirus pandemic.

The minimum demand charge of HD and LT categories of industries, cinema theatres and commercial firms will also be waived for the six-month period of lockdown.

TRS also plans to rescue of vehicle owners affected by the lockdown from March-September, waiving motor vehicle tax amounting to Rs 267 crore for the two quarters of the current year payable by more than 3 lakhs vehicle owners.
