Hyderabad: The Afzalgunj police have filed a case against Goshamahal BJP MLA T Raja Singh for organizing a rally during Sri Ram Navami festivities without proper permission, leading to traffic disruptions. The case has been filed under Sections 341, 188, 290, 171-C read with 34 of the IPC. This action was taken following a complaint by a sub-inspector of police.
According to the complaint, Raja Singh conducted a rally on Sri Ram Navami without the necessary permissions last Wednesday. During this rally, he addressed a large crowd at Gowliguda and allegedly used his speech to influence voters. Investigations are ongoing.
