Fiat Chrysler Automobile to set up R&D Center in Hyderabad, Create 1,000 New Jobs

Maserati, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Lancia, Ram and SRT are the brands that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) designs, engineers, manufactures, distributes, and sells vehicles across the world.

Hyderabad: International removed automotive giant Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) announced an investment of Rs 1100 crore ($150 million) to set up a new Global Digital Hub in Hyderabad, Telangana on Wednesday.

FCA ICT India, the proposed innovation and technological development facility in Hyderabad will be FCA’s is the biggest hub outside of North America.

The FAC ICT hub will create more than 1,000 new technology jobs in next one year.

FCA has more than 48 research and development (R&D) facilities across the world in over 40 nations, Hyderabad facilities will be FCA’s first hub in India.

FCA ICT India will operate as a fully integrated part of Fiat Chrysler’s global team.

The FCA automaker will be attracting the best digital talent in India and focus on niche technology areas such as connected vehicle services and data science, among others.

KT Rama Rao, Minister for IT and Industries welcomed FCA’s initiative and assured all possible support from the Telangana State government.
