Mahabubnagar: A tragic incident occurred at Yenugonda on Tuesday morning where a father and daughter were found dead on a railway track. Shivanand, 46, reportedly disturbed by family issues, went to the railway tracks to end his life. His daughter, Chandana, 17, attempted to rescue him but was unsuccessful, and both were struck by a train.

Shivanand was employed as a driver at SVS Hospital, and Chandana worked as a medical technician. The Railway police have shifted their bodies to the Government General Hospital in the town for postmortem.
