Fake Government Official, Cheating Gang Arrested, Rs 2.2 Crore Seized

Hyderabad, 30 March: Commissioner Taskforce Team along with Police SR Nagar PS arrested three habitual cheaters & white-collar offenders of a cheating gang, who impersonate them as government officials.

The arrested were identified as A. Sudhakar (Peddpalli Dist.), S. Naga Raju (Warangal Dist.), and Battala Bheemaiah (Manchiryal Dist.).

The main offender A. Sudhakar impersonating as Govt. official to believe himself as higher officer, showing fake ID card printed on the name of PA to CM – OSD, moving in Fortuner Car, engaged two persons as Security guards in safari dress. And also purchased a toy pistol, showing to public and saying that the weapon was allotted by Govt. for his personal security. He trapped about 80 to 100 innocent gullible public, cheated and collected huge amount under the guise of providing Double bed room houses under TS Govt Scheme, allotment of Govt. lands, Govt. Police jobs and also promised to arrange gold on cheaper rate than market price, collected about 3 Crore rupees and disappeared.

Police seized cash and properties worth of Rs. 2.2 crore, which included as follows

14 Cell phones
Toy Pistol
Fake ID Cards, Fake Police ID Card, Fake Voter ID Cards, Fake Secretariat entry cards, etc.

They were booked in 8 difference case in various police station of Hyderabad, under IPC sections 420, 406, 506, 419, 170,

A Sudhakar was car driver in Tourism Department and also Tribal Welfare Department in Secretariat and worked up to 2010. After observing the officer’s life style and status in the society. Then he hatched a plan to maintain luxury life style posing himself as Government Official. He targeted several innocent gullible people, posing himself as Govt. official, showing ID card which is printed as PA to CM – OSD to believe him as higher officer.

He also engaged two persons by name S. Nagaraju and B. Bheemaiah as his Security guards and acts as gunmen. He used to move on high model cars and also purchased one toy pistol/gun (looking like original gun) showing to public and saying that the weapon was allotted to him by Government for his personal security.

He is promising to provide Double bedroom houses under Govt. scheme, Govt. lands, Govt. jobs, Loans to unemployed youth under Govt. Schemes, Police Jobs, etc., In this MO he trapped about 80 to 100 members, cheated and collected about Rs.3 Crores from various people in Hyderabad and also in Telangana State. In this case some more victims to be identified.
