Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister, Minister For Finance, Planning & Energy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka directed power officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply during rains. During a review meeting with senior Energy Department officials, he emphasized the need for power utilities to be prepared for emergencies and to promptly restore power.
“Officials should see that there are no power interruptions in the State during heavy rain. The officials should take measures to ensure power and see that people do not face problems,” Dy. CM said.
He instructed officials to remove trees likely to fall during strong winds to prevent disruptions. Energy Secretary Ronald Rose, TGNPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Varun Reddy, and other officers attended the meeting.
