Hyderabad: A tragic road accident occurred on Wednesday at Puranapul, where a father-daughter duo was killed after a DCM vehicle rammed into their scooter from behind. The victims were identified as 55-year-old Babu Miya and his 19-year-old daughter, Nausheen Begum.
The incident took place when Babu Miya picked up his daughter from Government Degree College for Girls in Hussainialam and they were heading home to Jiyaguda. On their way, a DCM truck collided with their scooter, causing them to fall and sustain severe injuries. Nausheen died at the scene, while Babu Miya was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The Kulsumpura police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation. The driver of the DCM truck has been taken into custody.
