Warangal: A couple, Vangari Ramesh (55) and his wife Saraswathi (45) of Tilak Road in Kashibugga in Warangal were arrested for printing and circulating fake currency notes by the Task Force police and Intezarganj police on Wednesday and arrested a couple for printing and circulating fake currency notes.

Police also seized fake currency with the face value of Rs 10,09,960, a color printer, bond papers, and a cutter used in printing the fake notes.

According to police the accused were printing currency notes for the last three months in 2,000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20, and 10 denominations, and circulated the fake currency in shops where customer rush was high to avoid suspicion.
