Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samity (TRS) emerged as the largest party, but lost the simple majority,
BJP overtakes and took almost half of the TRS seats after the BJP’s very high-voltage and divisive campaigns, set to take second place in a close fight with the TRS.
AIMIM manage to keep almost all their previous seats. The AIMIM Retained 44 seats.

The GHMC results have been declared on 149 of 150 seats with results in the Neredmet division held
The complete results of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls may be announced only later in the evening.
The TRS conceding around 40 seats to the BJP. The BJP, with nothing to lose, made big gains at the cost of the ruling party in an area where it was almost non-existent so far.
Now BJP is looking forward for the 2023 Telangana Assembly election, which looks a straight fight between the TRS and the BJP.
A deeply polarizing campaign this time by BJP focused more on Pakistan, Mohammad Ali Jinnah and whether Hyderabad wants its name changed to Bhagyanagar.
