Kolkata: BJP MP Saumitra Khan has chosen to send a divorce notice to his wife Sujata Mondal Khan just hours after joining the Trinamool Congress ahead of the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections. In Addition to divorce notice, Sujata Khan’s car and house security at Barjora in Bishnupur have been withdrawn.

Sujata Mondal Khan joined the All India Trinamool Congress(TMC) earlier in the day in Kolkata, revealing the feud in the family in the open.

After joining the TMC, Sujata Mondal Khan said “There was no respect in the BJP for me the BJP does not give due respect and honor to people.” “Now there are only opportunist and tainted people on the top. There was no respect in the BJP for me,” Sujata Mondal Khan said.

Sujata Mondal Khan further said that for BJP, “I don’t understand what kind of soap is it that is used to purifying the tainted leaders.”
