Noida: Four individuals were arrested for consuming alcohol in a car during wedding celebrations near a banquet hall in Sector 73, Noida, on Sunday. The incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Sector 113 police station. According to the police, the arrested individuals are associated with the banquet hall’s management team and the operator of a bar set up in a modified car.
The police did not specify whether any guests or hosts of the wedding ceremony were reported or penalized. The arrests were made following a tip-off about open alcohol consumption. The detainees have been identified as Haider (30), Arjun (20), Ajit (21), and Prateek Taneja (27). Taneja, a Delhi resident, owns the modified car, which has been seized by the authorities.
