Hyderabad: Uma Maheshwar, a 2 month-old infant who was found dead in a water tank on Friday turned out cold-blooded murder by the infant’s aunt Swetha.

According to the police, Swetha (21) of Anajpur, killed her nephew took the child while his mother was asleep, and took him to the terrace. When she failed to strangle him to death, she threw him in the water tank on Friday around 3.30 AM.

Shweta had an issue with the infant’s mother Latha, according to Shweta her sister-in-law Latha had taunted her a few months ago after Shwetha had an abortion due to health issues, and said she would not have children. And she decided to kill Latha’s baby, Uma Maheshwar.
