Angry BJP in AP Seek DGP Removal for Blaming BJP for Temple Attacks
Andhra Pradesh: AP’s BJP unit has reacted angrily to DGP Gautam Sawang’s statement alleging the BJP leaders in Andhra Pradesh for a series of attacks on temples.
BJP AP unit chief Somu Veerraju demanded that CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy should immediately remove DGP Gautam Sawang from the post for making baseless accusations.
He said it was unfortunate that rather than acting against those engaged in the attacks on temples, fake cases were being registered against the BJP cadres.
The BJP leader also demanded an immediate stop to religious conversions in the AP state.
He said the government was acting with the intention to weaken Hindutva.
