15 TDP, BJP Workers Arrested in Andhra Pradesh in Temple Attack Case

Amaravathi: Gautam Sawang, Director general Police of Andhra Pradesh said that police investigators have identified 21 TDP and BJP political activists who were allegedly involved in the temple attack cases or in spreading false information about temple attacks in social media.

In a press conference on Friday, Sawang disclosed that 13 TDP, and 2 BJP political activists were arrested while other are still absconding.

DGP Sawang said  that 17 TDP and 4 BJP affiliated persons have been identified in nine such cases. 15 of them have been arrested by far, the hunt for the rest is still on.

DGP Sawang said “certain people belonging to certain political factions with vested interests are intentionally resorting to false propaganda to further their political agenda’.
