Hyderabad: Within 24 hours of the Adilabad Incident, in which AIMIM unit president Farooq Ahmed, used his revolver and fired on people injuring 3 locals. Taking a serious note of it All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) has dissolved its party unit in Adilabad district.
Farooq Ahmed, former vice-chairman of Adilabad municipality, and the president of AIMIM in Adilabad district, after a quarrel, fired on locals’ people using his licensed revolver in which 2 persons were injured, one more local person was also injured when he stabbed with knife.
He opened fire when few teens both groups entered into a heated argument over a pretty issue while playing cricket. As they were still arguing, the parents of both groups rushed to the spot and started quarrelling. In the meantime, Farooq Ahmed opened fire.
He was arrested by the Adilabad Police after the Incident.
AIMIM party announced that Farooq Ahmed has been removed from the party and AIMIM Adilabad District Unit Dissolved. AIMIM will form a new unit in Adilabad district.
