Hyderabad: The Superintendent of Gandhi hospital instructs the security and police personnel posted at the entrance gates of hospital to admit Covid-19 patients, without insisting for an RT-PCR test report.
Superintendent Dr. Raja Rao on April 21 issued a notice, asking the doctors, police and security personnel, to facilitate and admit patients without any delay for insisting a RT-PCR test report as well.
Gandhi hospital once again become a nodal COVID-19 treatment centre only like it had done last year. All other non-COVID patients have been shifted to other hospitals in the city.
Dr Raja Rao dispelled the rumors of Oxygen shortage and said it was not true. The hospital has a huge capacity of 20 kilo liters (KL) gas tank, which was recently constructed, apart from smaller six KL gas tanks. All these oxygen tanks are filled from time to time.
A report in Telangana Today, quoting him, said that there was no shortage of oxygen meant for critical COVID-19 patients.
All of us should also pray that Telangana should not face oxygen shortage in future,” Dr Raja Rao further said.
