Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Cybercrime police arrested a 24 year youth Ch Balachander, supervisor of an automobile showroom from Uppal on charges of posting derogatory comments on CM K Chandrashekar Rao on Facebook here on Friday.

Balachander uploaded an image of the Chief Minister and posted derogatory comments which hurt the sentiments of state people. Based on a complaint from police constable Ramesh of the Cybercrime PS, a case was booked.

Considering the technical evidence, he was arrested and remanded in judicial custody.

The Rachakonda Police warned people not to resort to such practices of spreading viral, derogatory, objectionable content defaming government or individuals on any social media.
