Hyderabad Cricket Association Officials Abuses President Azharuddin, Police Summoned the Official

They cannot come to the HCA office and stadium and abuse the president and other officials. The office premises are intended for official work but not for mistreating people and they must respect the chair.

Hyderabad: Mohammed Azharuddin, President of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) approached Uppal Police Station and claimed that some of the HCA officials abused one Yousuf and Himself. He also said that misleading propaganda is being spread against him.

The police summoned the HCA officials to the police station for enquiry about the complaint.

 Talking to media he said, they were abusing me and another HCA official. I complained to the concerned police. He further added that the law would take its own course. They cannot come to the HCA office and stadium and abuse the president and other officials. The office premises are intended for official work but not for mistreating people and they must respect the chair.

Surender Agarwal, HCA treasurer said that he has not abused Yousuf. I have asked him to follow procedures, Agarwal added.

As per the report, it seems that secretary Vijayanand, Vice President John Manoj, Joint Secretary Naresh Sharma, and Treasurer Surender Agarwal have taken stand against Mohammed Azharuddin after the former Indian cricket captain appointed Justice Deepak Verma as the Ombudsman of the association.

Earlier, justifying his decision to appoint the Ombudsman, Azharuddin said that he has not done anything wrong. He also said that the appointment of Justice Verma was approved in the Apex Council meeting held earlier on 6th June.

Speaking on an urgent need for an assignment of Ombudsman, he said that a lot of club disputes are unresolved. He also said that the letter was pending before his Secretary, Vijayanand for the past three months. After waiting for three months, Azharuddin HCA president sent letter to Justice Verma of appointment.
