Karimnagar: An 85-year-old woman named Narsavva from Alugunuru village filed a complaint with the Lower Manair Dam (LMD) police on Monday against her sons, alleging that they had abandoned her and were not providing her food. Narsavva, who has three surviving sons and two daughters (another son is deceased), had distributed her property equally among her children, retaining only 10 Guntas of land for herself. Despite living in the same village, her sons had stopped caring for her due to a family dispute. With the help of local residents, she approached the police. The police, led by Sub-Inspector B. Cheralu, intervened by counseling the sons and resolved the issue. Narsavva subsequently withdrew her complaint.
