6 Assam Cops Killed in Assam, Mizoram Border Violence , Both CMs Clashes on Tweets

Assam: Six Assam police officers were killed in violence today at the disputed Assam-Mizoram border.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam CM has said, there were reports of clashes, attacks on government vehicles, and firing from the Assam-Mizoram border area, which lie over Assam’s Cachar district and Mizoram’s Kolasib district

The Chief Ministers of the two states Himanta Biswa Sarma and Zoramthanga had clashed on Twitter and were tagging the PM, Narendra Modi, PMO office, and HM, Amit Shah in their tweets.

Tweeting a video of the violence where people armed with sticks can be seen, Chief Minister Zoramthanga sought Amit Shah’s intervention, saying it “needs to be stopped right now.”
