2.6 Kg Gold worth Rs. 1.28 crore Seized by Custom Officials at Hyderabad Airport

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad customs officials on Friday booked a case for smuggling 2.6 Kg of 24-carat gold bars from unclaimed check-in baggage at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad.

A total of 2.6 kgs of gold valued at Rs 1.28 crores was seized from unclaimed check-in baggage of flight EK-526 which arrived from Dubai,

The airport officials booked a case Further investigation is in progress.

On 07.05.21 Hyderabad Customs booked a case for smuggling of gold. The 24carat gold bars were concealed in an unclaimed check-in baggage landed from Dubai by flight EK-526.
