Hyderabad: A young man lost his life and another was critically injured while performing bike stunts for Instagram reels in Hayat Nagar on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The accident occurred on the national highway near Pedda Amberpet under the Hayanth Nagar police station of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.
The youth lost control of the sports bike during the stunts, causing both riders to fall and sustain severe injuries. They were taken to a private hospital, where Shiva, the pillion rider who was not wearing a helmet, died from his injuries on Sunday.
Wet road conditions due to rain likely contributed to the accident. Despite police crackdowns, many youths continue to perform risky stunts for social media in various parts of Hyderabad, posing dangers to themselves and others.
