World-Class Residential, ‘Young India Police School’ for Children of Police Officers by Telangana Govt.

Hyderbad: The Telangana government is establishing a new educational initiative called the “Young India Police School”, aimed at providing affordable, high-quality education to the children of police officers and other uniformed service personnel. Located in Manchirevula village, this school will include residential facilities and a sports complex, ensuring a world-class environment for students.

This move is part of a broader effort by the state to support families of police, fire services, excise, special police force, and prison officers. The school also honors police martyrs by offering their children access to these facilities.

The state’s director general of police (DGP) has been tasked with overseeing the establishment of these schools. The project aligns with the government’s commitment to building responsible citizens and supporting the professional commitment of officers.

This initiative is similar to the state-run ‘Gurukul’ schools, which cater to minorities, tribals, and students with disabilities. Additionally, it complements the recent announcement of 28 Young India Integrated Residential Schools, whose foundation stones were laid on October 11 across various districts in Telangana.
