Yogi’s Entire Generation will End but Hyderabad will Remain Hyderabad, Owaisi

Hyderabad: Asaduddin Owaisi, MP and AIMIM chief has hit back the Uttar Pradesh chief minister and said Yogi’s generation may end but the Hyderabad will remain as Hyderabad.

UP Chief minister Yogi Adityanath had on Saturday during an election campaign roadshow in the Malkajgiri, Hyderabad said that the city will be renamed Bhagyanagar if the BJP is voted to power in Telangana.

This took a sharp response from Asaduddin Owaisi who said while campaigning for his party in the run-up to GHMC elections: “… Your entire generation will end but Hyderabad’s name will remain as Hyderabad, the elections are between Hyderabad and Bhagyanagar, and if you want Hyderabad not to be renamed then vote for Majlis.”

Owaisi further said: “It doesn’t look like a Municipal election for Hyderabad, it’s as if we’re electing a Prime Minister in place of Narendra Modi.

The BJP is carrying out poll campaigns in the city and has roped in several high profile national leaders including Amit Shah (Home Minister), Yogi Aditya Nath (UP Chief  Minister),  Prakash Javadekar (Union Minister), Smriti Irani (Union Minister), and J P Nadda (BJP party president) are campaigning for the BJP in Hyderabad for local municipal election.
