Hyderabad: In Shamshabad, a group of women lynched a man named Kumar (35) after he repeatedly harassed women in the village.
Despite prior police counseling, Kumar misbehaved with a woman from Prakashnagar colony, provoking local women. Led by Sangeeta, Maheshwari, and Chandrakala, they tied him up and beat him with sticks, causing fatal injuries. Kumar later died in the hospital.
The police have registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against the women and are investigating the incident.
