Hyderabad: A murder suspect, Ahmed Bin Salam was arrested in January 2019 on charges of killing his wife Fatima Sadi at his house in Salala who has been released on bail.

One year ago, he was given bail by the court.

Yesterday, he again attacks four of his family members, killing two of his sisters and seriously injuring the remaining two at Chandrayangutta here on Monday evening.

According to information from the police, the suspect, named as Ahmed Bin Salam Baa Ismail, 25, a resident of Salala Barkas, had requested his sisters Razia Begum (35) and Zakira Begum (45) to visit his house in Salala in Chandrayangutta for dinner.

After attacking them, Ahmed Bin Salam escaped from the scene.

Both Noora and her husband are receiving medical treatment now, said B Bhaskar, Station House Officer at Balapur Police Station.

The shocking incident occurred at Salala, Barkas under Chandrayangutta police station limits in the old city of Hyderabad Monday evening.

Police suspect that family matters or property dispute could be the cause behind the dual murder of sisters.

After the incident, senior police officers paid a visit to the scene of the crime and are supervising the investigation.

The scenes of crime fall under the limits of two different police district commissioners. While Chandrayangutta police station is part of Hyderabad commissioner, Balapur police station comes under Rachakonda commissioner.
