Hyderabad: Vivint Pharma has announced plans to build a state-of-the-art injectables manufacturing facility in Genome Valley, Hyderabad, with an investment of ₹400 crore, creating 1,000 jobs. They already have an R&D center in Genome Valley with a ₹70 crore investment and have acquired 5.5 acres for the new facility. This announcement was made during a high-level meeting with Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and his team in the United States. The new injectables facility will focus on the development and production of high-quality injectable drugs, particularly in oncology.
In a major boost to Telangana’s life sciences sector, Vivint Pharma has announced plans to establish a state-of-the-art injectables manufacturing facility in Genome Valley, Hyderabad, with an investment of ₹400 crore, creating around 1,000 jobs. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu, currently touring the United States to attract investments, discussed this expansion with Vivint Pharma representatives.
Vivint Pharma, already operating a research and development center in Genome Valley with a ₹70 crore investment, aims to expand its presence in the international market. The new facility, situated on a 5.5-acre site, will be the company’s first manufacturing plant in India and will include a research and innovation center.
Chief Minister Reddy expressed his delight at the investment, emphasizing the state government’s commitment to supporting new innovations in life sciences with necessary concessions and infrastructure. Minister Babu highlighted Telangana’s favorable industrial environment and the significant contribution Vivint Pharma’s new center will make to the growth of the life sciences sector in the state.
