Lucknow: Vijay Kashyap, Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Revenue and Flood Control died of Covid-19 at a Gurgaon hospital on Tuesday.
Vijay Kashyap(56), who represents Muzaffarnagar’s Charthawal Assembly constituency, died at Medanta Hospital, in Gurgaon.
Last year tow other UP ministers Kamal Rani Varun and Chetan Chauhan had died from the CoronaVirus infection.
Vijay Kashyap is the 5th Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA, who has died in the second wave of Covid-19.
Earlier, Dal Bahadur Kori (MLA, Salon), Kesar Singh Gangwar (MLA, Nawabganj), Ramesh Diwakar (MLA, Auraiya), and Suresh Kumar Srivastava (MLA, Lucknow West) had died of COVID19 infections.
