Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) administration announces to conduct entrance examinations for admissions into different courses offered by University, on 24th, 25th, and 26th September.
The student shall appear in persons for tests in 38 test centers across the country.
Speaking In a virtual news conference on Wednesday, University of Hyderabad Vice-Chancellor Prof. Appa Rao said the university this year collected 62,583 applications.
“We will conduct the university entrance tests on 24th, 25th, and 26th September at 38 test centers across the country. Like every year, the entrance tests will be conducted offline.
All necessary precautionary measures against the Covid-19 will be put in place at the centers. This time, instead of two sessions, the entrance exams will be held in three sessions,” he said.
University of Hyderabad received the highest number were from Telangana 28,612, followed by 7,019 from Kerala, 5,082 from Delhi, 4,250 from Andhra Pradesh, 3,878 from West Bengal and 3,349 from Odisha.
6,189 application for I.M. Sc Sciences (MA/PY/CH/SB/AG), followed 3,847 for M.Sc. Chemistry, 3,161 for M.Sc. Physics 2,953 for Social Sciences, 2,536 for English, and 2,946 for M.C.A.
A total of 2,456 seats are being offered for admissions to 132 courses. This includes 16 integrated courses, 41 PG courses, 15 M.Phil., 10 MTech, and 46 Ph.D. programs.
