Traffic Advisory in Hyderabad for Milad-Un-Nabi Processions: Key Routes and Diversions

Hyderabad: In view of the Milad-Un-Nabi processions in Hyderabad on Thursday, September 19, 2024, the Hyderabad traffic police issued a traffic advisory for citizens. Traffic diversions will be in place from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM along the procession routes.

Main Processions:

Main procession starts from Dargah Quadri Chaman and passes through Engine Bowli, Shamsheergunj, Aliabad, Shahalibanda, Charminar, Pathergatti, Nayapul, Darulshifa, and Mandi Mir Alam, concluding at Moghalpura.
Other processions will merge with the main one at Pathergatti, Charminar, and Shahalibanda.
A separate procession from Mecca Masjid to Haj House, Nampally.
A procession from Pathergatti to Ali Jah Kotla.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY

In connection with the Milad-un-Nabi Peace Procession (Birth Anniversary of Mohammed SAW) the Muslim ommunity will be taking out processions in Hyderabad city on 19.09.2024 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m, and in order to facilitate proper control and regulation of traffic the following traffic arrangements will be made.

The following are the main processions which will be taken out:

1. From Falaknuma to Volta Hotel.

2. From Yahiya Pasha Dargah to Volta Hotel

3. From Mecca Masjid to Haj House, Nampally.

4. From Mecca Masjid to Volta Hotel.

5. From Pattarghatti to Alijah Kotla.

There will be several other small local processions and from other Commissionerates which will be joining the main procession.

The traffic will be either stopped or diverted at the following places/routes on need basis on 19-09-2024 from 8 a.m. to 8. p.m..

The main procession will start from Macca masjid and will proceed through Charminar, Gulzar House, Madina, Nayapool Bridge, Salarjung Museum, Salajung Rotary, Purani Haveli, Etebar Chowk and ends at Volta Hotel Bibi Bazar. Accordingly, the traffic will be diverted during the procession at:

1. MBNR X Road towards Kandikalgate, Phisalbanda and Old Kurnool Road

2. Engine Bowli towards Goshala as well as Syed Quadri Chaman road,

3. Shamsheergunj towards Kalapather ‘Y’ junction towards Ali Nagar jahanuma,

4. Nagulchintha towards Lal Darwaza Temple Chatrinaka and Sudha Talkies, Deccan Hotel,

5. Rajesh Medical Hall towards Khilwat and Akkanna Madanna Temple, Moghalpura

6. Hari Bowli towards Ashoka Pillar, Mohammed Shukur Mosque via Sudha Library,

7. Volga Hotel towards Fathedarwaza and Khilwat, 8.

Armaan Hotel towards Etebar Chowk,

9. Sheer Bhatil Kaman toward Mitti ka Sher and Ghansi Mandi,

10. Madina towards City College, Afzalgunj Bridge, Shivaji Bridge,

11. SBH lane towards HUDA office,

12. Etebar Chowk towards Yakuthpura and KaliKaman, Hafeez Danka Mosque, Bhavani Nagar and Talabkatta areas.
