Traffic Advisory for Sri Jagadamba Mahankali Golconda Bonalu Celebrations 2024

Hyderabad: During the Bonalu celebrations at Golconda Fort, heavy traffic congestion is expected on the following dates and routes between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.:

Pooja Dates:

  • 1st Pooja: 07-07-2024
  • 4th Pooja: 18-07-2024
  • 5th Pooja: 21-07-2024
  • 6th Pooja: 25-07-2024
  • 7th Pooja: 28-07-2024
  • 8th Pooja: 01-08-2024
  • 9th Pooja: 04-08-2024

Congested Routes:

  1. Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort (via Makkai Darwaza)
  2. Langar Houz to Golconda Fort (via Fateh Darwaza)
  3. Shaikpet Nala and Seven Tombs to Golconda Fort (via Banjara Darwaza)

Alternative Routes: Commuters are advised to avoid the above routes and use alternative roads to prevent inconvenience.

Parking Arrangements:

  1. From Ramdevguda (via Makkai Darwaza):
  2. Park two-wheelers at Military Ground opposite AOC Centre, Ramdevguda, and Ashoor Khana parking. Proceed to Golconda Fort on foot.
  3. From Langar Houz (via Fateh Darwaza):
  4. Two and three-wheelers are not allowed. Use the alternative route from Ramdevguda and park at Military Ground opposite AOC Centre, Ramdevguda.
  5. From Shaikpet and Seven Tombs (via Banjara Darwaza):
  6. Park two-wheelers at Golf Club parking and three/four-wheelers at Deccan Park.
