Hyderabad: Telangana Tourism Minister J. Krishna Rao announced plans to transform the state into a destination wedding hub, leveraging its natural beauty. At a media conference in Hyderabad, he highlighted development plans for areas like Somasila, Ramappa, Laknavaram, Nagarjuna Sagar, and Ananthagiri Hills. A draft tourism policy will be released soon to further develop the sector. Additionally, the state will focus on enhancing eco-tourism, temple tourism, and medical tourism, with wellness resorts planned for Ananthagiri Hills. The minister criticized the previous decade’s neglect of tourism and promised significant progress within the next six months.
