Hyderabad: In a surprising breach of police station security, a video featuring a suspect inside the Bandlaguda police station in Hyderabad’s old city went viral on social media. The video, which was filmed and posted online, has sparked criticism over police negligence.
The footage shows a detainee standing barefoot inside a lockup, conversing with a young man outside. Adding a cinematic flair, background music accompanies the scene. The video’s widespread circulation has led to public outrage, highlighting the apparent lack of surveillance within the station.
In response, the Bandlaguda police have filed charges against three individuals: Syed Muniruddin Bubashir, Shaik Suleman, and Mubarak Bin Abdad. The charges were brought under Sections 329(4), 324(4) r/w 3(5) of the BNS Act.
