Bhainsa, Nirmal, 07 March: Two groups clash in many areas of the Bhainsa town on Sunday night, several people injured including a police sub inspector constables and news reporters. Shops and offices were set on fire.
According to police, the situation is now under control and they are investigating to know the reason for the clashes.
Around 100 suspicious persons were taken into custody. More than 600 police personnel including 50 senior police officers have been deployed across the town.
The injured persons are being treated in Bhainsa and Nirmal towns, and seriously injured were shifted to hospital in Nizamabad.
Two groups belonging to different community started pelting stones at around 9 pm in different areas including Julfekar Galli, Kubheer Road, Ganesh Nagar, Medarigalli, Bus stand localities.
2 bikes were set on fire parked in the bus stand area, causing tension in the areas.
Bhainsa Police swung into action and dispersed the fighting groups.
Vishnu S Warier,” Nirmal district in-charge superintendent of police said, the situation is under control now. We have declared prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC. We request the people not to believe in the rumors, but to cooperate with the police in maintaining law and order.
KTR, Telangana Minister ask Home Minister and DGP Telangana to take stern action to bring the perpetrators of violence in Bhainsa to justice and said Peace & harmony is fundamental to the progress of civilized society, and Telangana Govt will not tolerate lawlessness in any form.
