Hyderabad: Sai Rohith Thushlapuram, a 23-year-old student from Siddipet, Telangana, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Lake Sammamish, Washington state, on July 24. Rohith, who was pursuing a Master of Sciences at Union College University in Schenectady, New York, is believed to have drowned. His body was brought back to Siddipet on Tuesday with the help of the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) and his friends. The eldest son of Mangavva and Mahadev, Rohith completed his engineering degree at CVR College in 2022 before moving to the US in January 2024. The police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of death.
