Telangana People will Prevent BJP from Expanding its Footprints: Asad Owaisi

“We will contest against the BJP in a democratic way. The people of Telangana will fight the BJP in the State. It is a temporary victory for the BJP in the GHMC elections. It is against our wishes,” 

Hyderabad: Asaduddin Owaisi, Member of Parliament, AIMIM President has voiced confidence that the Telangana people will prevent the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from further expanding its footprints in the Telangana state.

TRS in Telangana state is a powerful political party. “It represents the regional sentiment of Telangana. I am certain that KCR and TRS will review the party’s performance in these elections,” Owaisi said.

It is against our wishes,”  “We are confident that the people of Hyderabad and Telangana will stop BJP from expanding its footprints in the Telangana state,” said Owaisi.

  • AIMIM contested total 51 seat for GHM and won on 44 seats in Hyderabad GHMC elections.
  • AIMIM in out of 44 Municipal wards in “Hyderabad Parliament Constituency” contested on 34 wards and won 33 wards.
  • AIMIM in “Secunderabad Parliament Constituency” contested on 12 wards and won 9 wards.
  • AIMIM in “Malkajgiri Parliament Constituency AIMIM contested on 3 wards and lost all 3 wards.
  • AIMIM in “Malkajgiri Parliament Constituency AIMIM contested on 2 wards and won both, 2 wards.

I have spoken to all newly elected corporators and asked them to begin their work from tomorrow itself,” Owaisi said.
