New Delhi: Team India, fresh from their World Cup victory, arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi at around 6:05 AM on a chartered plane. Fans gathered in large numbers to welcome the champions. The squad will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 11 AM at his residence and then return to their hotel. They are scheduled to depart for Mumbai at 4 PM on Thursday. In Mumbai, they will participate in an open bus road show followed by a felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede Stadium.
