Telugu Desam Party Will Regain Its Past Glory in Telangana: Chandrababu Naidu

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu declared his intention for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) to regain its former prominence in Telangana. Addressing party workers at NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad, Naidu emphasized the need for the party’s resurgence in Telangana, where TDP was originally founded. Despite many leaders leaving, dedicated workers have remained loyal. Naidu announced plans to restructure the party, focusing on youth and educated individuals to build strong leadership for the next 30 years. He indicated that different political strategies would be employed for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with special efforts to strengthen TDP in Telangana. Reflecting on the recent success in Andhra Pradesh’s Assembly elections, Naidu credited the victory to a significant reorganization that emphasized young, educated, and intellectual candidates. He pledged to maintain the same energy and approach seen in 1995 for the 2024 elections and reminded people of the positive initiatives like Shramadanam and Janmabhoomi from the past.
