On Thursday, Vivekh had taken his first Covid vaccine shot along with his friends at the Omandarur Government Hospital, and after getting the vaccine, he met the media and urged everyone eligible to get vaccinated soon.

Chennai, 17 April: Vivekh, a famous Tamil actor died early morning at around 4.45 AM on Saturday. He was 59 years old. He is survived by his wife Arulselvi and two daughters Tejaswini, Amritha Nandini. His son Prasanna Kumar died at the age of 13 due to brain fever.

Vivekh suffered a massive heart attack yesterday and was rushed to the hospital. He was given first-aid and was later put on ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) support.

According Doctor treating him, Vivekh health began to deteriorate at around 2 AM on Saturday, and succumbed to his condition around 4.45 AM. Earlier Vivekh suffered a massive heart attack on April 16, and it took more than 45 minutes to resuscitate him.

On Thursday, Vivekh had taken his first Covid vaccine shot along with his friends at the Omandarur Government Hospital, and after getting the vaccine, he met the media and urged everyone eligible to get vaccinated soon.

The hospital clarified that he suffered an acute coronary syndrome with cardiogenic shock. There was 100 per cent blockage in a vessel and his cardiac arrest may not be due to the vaccination.
